CEM

The CEM is the modern replacement of the Shore Protection Manual, (SPM) the basis for coastal engineering practices in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and most standard engineering projects throughout the world. It incorporates contributions from worldwide experts/practitioners and latest research techniques, procedures, and information. 

The CEM provides broader coverage of all aspects of coastal engineering than the SPM.
